Ingredients 50g butter or margarine 1 cup (200g) brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla essence 1/2 cup (125ml) cream Fresh seasonal fruit (such as apples, pears, strawberries, oranges and bananas) Method Put butter, brown sugar and vanilla essence in a saucepan. Stir over a low heat for about 5 minutes until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat. Stir in the cream until it is well
What you’ll need 500g strawberries hulled 1 banana 2/3 cup strawberry yogurt 1 cup lowfat milk How to make it Ask your child to wash the fresh strawberries, hull them, and pat them dry. Peel the banana and slice it in half or in quarters, then place all the fruit in an electric blender. Spoon the yogurt into the blender, then pour in the milk.
